Sie ist unerreichbar für ihn - wirklich? Kroll gräbt in alten Geheimnissen und seiner Vergangenheit, obwohl das vielleicht gar nicht so gut ist. Er gräbt erschreckendes aus, mit Hilfe einer etwas undurchsichtigen jungen Frau. Leider gibt es ab und zu ein bisschen viel Lokalkolorit und auch die Rückblenden bzw. die Ausflüge in die Religionsgeschichte unterbrechen den Lesefluss. Die Geschichte selbst ist spannend, persönlich und sehr berührend. Ein Muss für alle Thriller-Fans, absolute Leseempfehlung.
